HostBluff Server Downgrades

Attention all HostBluff Customers,

As most of you already know, we are fully dedicated to making your hosting experiences with HostBluff as miserable as possible by providing all customers with world class downtime and frustration. In effort to usher in the next generation “SRU” (Super Redundantly Unreliable) Hosting Infrastructure, we will need to downgrade our production servers from iOS5 to Windows 8 RT. This change is expected to increase our current downtime from 94% to 98% overnight.

This change is scheduled to happen yesterday and may call fro short periods of uptime while we perform the thousands of Windows Updates. We are also excited to see how the new Blue Screens of Death appear on the new Retina Displays.

Thank you but as our servers are normally down anyways, you will have a hard time hacking us.

But Windows 8 might actually cause uptime! You might want to consider deleting the “Windows” folder on the C:( drive.

      Hello,
We have been doing this for a long time and I have never seen a Microsoft product cause any measurable amount of system uptime. We will be sure to install service packs as well, those tend to break more then they fix.
